A letter, every Sunday
Not a list. A standing invitation to the correspondence I’d send a close friend.
One hotel, one table set for one, one thing worth knowing before the week begins.
WHAT ARRIVES ON SUNDAY
Four small things, once a week.
Every letter opens with one hotel. The one I'd actually send you to this week, named room and all, with the reason it earned the mention. Not a round-up. One.
Then a short reflection from a table set for one, somewhere I ate alone recently, and what the evening taught me about doing it well. After that, a single tip you can use: the request to make at check-in, the table to ask for, the hour to arrive.
And one invitation to close. A place worth knowing about, a question I'd like your answer to, or simply the door left open to write back. I read everything.
